Atlas Copco HiLight MS4 Lighting Tower: Compact, Efficient, and Solar-Powered

The Atlas Copco HiLight MS4 delivers a versatile and sustainable lighting solution for temporary outdoor applications, including construction sites, mining operations, oil and gas projects, and events. The MS4 combines high performance with environmentally conscious design, offering a quieter, emission-free alternative to conventional lighting towers.

This lighting tower operates on solar power, storing energy in 2 lithium-ion batteries for silent and eco-friendly performance. The MS4 is equipped with 4 x 120W SMD High Lumen LED floodlights, producing a total of 94,000 lumens and illuminating areas up to 4,250 m² at an average of 20 lux. Thanks to SMD LED technology, the MS4 achieves broader light coverage and greater efficiency compared to traditional COB LED solutions.

Designed for extended autonomy, the MS4 provides at least 14 hours of operation at full power, and up to 72 hours when using ECO mode with dimming. Its solar panels are connected in parallel to ensure continuous recharging even if one panel is shaded, while integrated Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) optimises charging efficiency, allowing full battery recharge in as little as 5 hours under optimal conditions.

The HiLight MS4 is built for durability and simplicity. Its HardHat® canopy protects critical components from harsh weather and site conditions. The manual mast extends up to 6 meters with 340° rotation, enabling flexible and precise light positioning.

For intelligent operation, the MS4 features a digital ECO Controller with a dedicated control cubicle. This system enables real-time monitoring and automatic control of lighting, including a start-stop function triggered by ambient light levels. The MS4 is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures from -20°C to +45°C, ensuring reliable performance in a variety of environments.
